I am a high-GPA Mechanical Engineering Graduate from the University of Alberta. I have experience teaching students in:

My goal in tutoring is to invoke genuine interest in the subjects I teach, and use that to achieve mastery. Throughout my studies, I found courses interesting and fun, and I want to bring that attitude to others.

I believe the best way to feel confident in an exam is to feel like it's easy. My belief is students should practice on problems that are harder than what they will see on exams, so that they feel like the exam is easy when they do it.
My lessons consist of the following components:
- Short motivating lecture on a specific topic to introduce new content
- Solving problems together to begin building skills
- Individual problem solving with corrective guidance to build independence
