About Michael
I am a recent university graduate who Majored in Genetics and Microbiology for my bachelor degree and then received first class honours in Genetics and Evolution. I am passionate about science communication and encouraging the next generation of STEM students. I have assisted the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Adelaide with events aimed at High School students as well involving myself with the Young Scientists of Australia.

I believe that it is the job of the educator to be able to explain complex ideas in understandable and unique ways depending on the student. I am personally a visual learner and find it easier to use drawings or abstract metaphors to explain my ideas.
