About Elilshree
Hi! I’m Elilshree, a Computer Science student at Universiti Malaya with a strong passion for Mathematics and teaching. I have achieved A+ in both Mathematics and Additional Mathematics for SPM, an A in Matriculation Mathematics, and graduated from Matriculation with a 4.00 CGPA.
With more than 4 years of experience in one-to-one online tutoring, I have taught students from Primary School to Diploma level. I understand that every student learns differently, so I do not believe in using a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths, weaknesses and learning style before adapting my lessons accordingly.
My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them become more confident when facing Mathematics questions. I explain concepts clearly and patiently, guide students through questions step by step, and encourage them to understand the reasoning behind each solution rather than simply memorizing formulas.
I have experience teaching students who initially struggled with Mathematics, including helping students improve from failing grades to B and from C to A+. I believe that with the right guidance, consistent practice and a supportive learning environment, every student can make meaningful progress.
I teach in both English and Tamil, and I welcome students who may feel nervous or less confident about Mathematics. My lessons are friendly, personalized and focused on helping each student progress at their own pace.

My lessons are personalized based on the student’s current level, learning needs and goals.
I usually begin by identifying the student’s strengths, weaknesses and understanding of the topic. I then explain concepts clearly and step by step, followed by guided practice and progressively more challenging questions.
Rather than focusing only on memorizing formulas, I encourage students to understand the reasoning behind each method. I also encourage students to explain their thinking so I can identify misconceptions and address them early.
For students preparing for examinations, lessons can focus on:
• Understanding difficult topics and strengthening fundamentals
• Practising different types of examination questions
• Improving problem-solving techniques
• Identifying and correcting common mistakes
• Targeted practice based on individual weaknesses
• Building confidence and improving exam time management
Lessons are suitable for Primary School, Secondary School, SPM, Matriculation, Foundation and Diploma-level Mathematics.
Lessons are conducted online in English or Tamil.
Typical lesson duration: 1–1.5 hours, depending on the student’s age, level and learning needs.
