About Rosa
Hi! I’m a University of Arizona student with a background in nursing and a passion for helping students feel more confident in school. I also spent two years tutoring high school students as part of my internship, where I gained hands-on experience working with students and helping them with their academic needs.
I’m patient, approachable, and believe students learn best when they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. I also take my work seriously and understand the importance of being professional, dependable, respectful, and prepared for every lesson.
I take the time to understand each student’s needs and adjust my approach to what works best for them. Whether they need help getting started on an essay, understanding an assignment, improving their writing, or proofreading their work, I’m here to help!
My goal is to provide a friendly and supportive learning environment while helping students build skills and confidence they can use on their own!

About My Lessons
I want my lessons to feel comfortable, easygoing, and helpful! I work with middle and high school students who need a little extra help with English, essays, proofreading, or getting started on an assignment.
We can work on whatever the student needs help with—from brainstorming ideas and organizing their thoughts to writing, editing, grammar, and proofreading. I’m happy to go step-by-step and explain things in a way that actually makes sense.
My goal isn’t to do the work for the student, but to help them understand what they’re doing, improve their writing, and feel more confident doing it on their own.
Every student is different, so I like to keep lessons flexible and focus on what they’re currently struggling with or want to improve!
