About Gabriel
I am a second-year MMath Mathematics student at the University of Warwick with a genuine passion for helping students build confidence in maths and science. Although I now study mathematics at one of the UK's leading universities, maths did not always come naturally to me. In school I was placed in the bottom set for maths and forced to attend support classes. Through hard work, effective study techniques and my own personal learning, I gradually developed both my understanding and confidence, eventually achieving A* grades in Mathematics and Further Mathematics at A-Level.
I find this allows me to relate to students who may be struggling or lacking confidence. I understand the frustration that difficult topics can cause and believe that with the right approach, every student can make significant progress. My goal is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop confidence, problem-solving skills and a more positive attitude towards learning.

My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, whether they are aiming to improve confidence, master difficult topics or achieve top grades. I focus on developing a strong understanding of concepts before applying them to exam-style questions and proven exam techniques. Having completed these qualifications recently, I understand the challenges students face and can explain complex topics in a clear and approachable way.
Lessons are available for GCSE and A-Level Maths, Further Maths and Physics, either online or in person. Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes and are designed to be engaging, structured and results-focused. Through my previous experience as a Maths Mentor, I have helped students make significant progress, with several improving from mid-range grades to achieving 8s and 9s at GCSE.
