About Ridhwaanah
I am a final year History & Politics student at the University of Oxford currently based in London, and tutoring has been a rewarding part of my academic journey for 6 years. I have personally experienced the challenges of navigating exams and applications, so I am passionate about helping students tackle them with confidence. My current historical and political specialisms include: International Relations, Theory of Politics, Politics in the Middle East, Modern Global History and The Troubles in Northern Ireland. I am also able to tutor essay writing approaches for humanities students in general. Teaching allows me to share strategies that worked for me, inspire enthusiasm for learning, and see my students succeed in their own paths.

As a University of Oxford student with 6 years of tutoring experience, my approach is tailored to each student's individual needs, fostering both confidence and subject mastery. I have an excellent track-record of tutoring students for entry to Oxford and demystifying the admissions process, and thus I am able to work with students on all aspects of their UCAS applications. Whether it’s Oxbridge applications, personal statements, or HAT preparation, I provide personalised, structured guidance. For all levels of education (Primary, Secondary, and A-Level), I emphasise active engagement and critical thinking, breaking down complex topics to make them more manageable. My goal is to inspire and encourage a passion for learning and knowledge-seeking, as well as ensure each student achieves their full potential in exams and beyond.
