About Jade
I believe tutoring should not only be results-driven, but should also prioritize keeping the student interested and invested in their own learning.
I have prior experience tutoring with Mathnasium and I've also volunteered with an organization called AMASE for most of my high school career, where I tutored autistic people in piano. From years of experience, I know how to keep my students engaged, and I will adapt my lesson plans to each individual student's learning style to maximize efficacy.

My lessons are geared toward students K-12, and I offer classes in a variety of subjects, including math, chemistry, English.
A typical lesson plan would begin with a review of new material learned in class. Here, I will address any initial questions the student has. Then, we will move on to completing any classwork or homework.
What we do after all required work has been completed is completely up to the student, as long as it is on topic. I'm down if the student wants me to provide my own exercises, or if they want to move on to the next section in their curriculum. If they have already achieved a high-level understanding of their current course material, they may even want to tackle new challenges, like trying out AMC practice problems or analyzing interpretations of Kafka's "The Metamorphosis." Ultimately, my goal is to further students' understanding in a way that is fun for them.
