About Samuel
I am currently a senior in Mechanical Engineering at my university. I have always benefited from getting assistance from professors, Teaching Assistants, and fellow students. I wanted to give back and provide the same help I was given when I was first learning the difficult topics related to my major. In the past few years I have solidified my knowledge and honed my tutoring methods, and I am proud to say that I help students every day, and I look forward to helping even more!

My tutoring approach is heavily based on helping students figure out the problem themselves. I have learned that students achieve the most learning and personal satisfaction when they figure out the solution by their own logic and understanding. My job as a tutor is to give hints and especially to ask questions that challenge the student to explain and solidify their own understanding and that set them on the path to the answer without handing it to them.
