About Asmaani
I am an undergraduate history student at Oxford and I am here to deconstruct the stress and mystery surrounding essay subjects.
I struggled to find my writing style, figure out essay structures and understand what the examiner wanted from me. Luckily, I figured it out for you and want to pass it on to so that you don't have to struggle on!
I can help you to understand and enjoy literature and history, and achieve your goals while doing so!

Texts in English can seem stuffy and daunting but I am here to clear away the fluff and break down the texts in an easy to understand way! I help explain core themes and quotes to students, as well as providing example essays and structure plans.
The best way to learn is to practice, and so I will go through essay questions together, to improve your exam techique in the best way for you - starting with brainstorming plans all the way to timed practice essays!
A lesson typically lasts an hour, but I am flexible based on what each student needs.
