About Gracie
Throughout my time in school I worked very hard to get to where I am as I was not naturally smart. I fell in love with science in year 10 and spent hours revising to achieve 9s and A*s. I was not privileged enough to have a tutor which meant I tried every revision trick to get the top marks and truly believe I have found the most efficient ways which I would love to share with students. I am so passionate about chemistry and would very much like other students to think that way as well, as it is such a universal subject which can take people so far in life!

In a standard hour lesson I aim to find out what it is stopping my students from achieving high and guiding them on how to answer questions, ways to revise etc. I like to make sure that my students don’t only know the content but what the examiners are looking for and easy ways for them to achieve marks as that is what helped me to get top grades! I would usually teach GCSEs and A levels but am happy to tutor anyone that needs it. A usual lesson would consist of a recap/finding which area is a real weakness and then spending around 30 minutes looking over the specific content. The last part of my lesson always consists of looking over exam questions related to what we have covered, some weeks this may be going through together and once more confident seeing how well the student can do answering them independently. I am also very happy to mark any work students want to send me outside of our lessons and send them any resources they may need!
