About Aleah
Hi! My name is Aleah and I’m currently an undergraduate student. I’m passionate about helping others succeed and grow in their academic journey, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. As a student myself, I understand how overwhelming college can get—assignments, exams, and trying to balance it all. That’s why I take a friendly, relatable approach to tutoring. Whether you’re struggling with a specific subject or just want to boost your confidence, I’ll meet you where you are and work with you to reach your goals. My sessions are laid-back but focused, with a strong emphasis on clear explanations, real-life examples, and personalized support. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching style to fit your needs—whether that means walking through problems together, helping outline your paper, or creating a study plan that works for you. Outside of academics, I’m involved in campus life through organizations like the International Club, lacrosse club, and Camera work. I also host a radio show—so I know a thing or two about time management, staying motivated, and juggling responsibilities. If you’re looking for a tutor who will be patient, encouraging, and genuinely committed to your success, I’d love to work with you. Let’s learn, grow, and make this semester your best one yet!

As a college undergraduate tutor, my approach is student-centered and adaptive. I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable steps, using real-life examples, visual aids, and active recall to enhance understanding and retention. I believe in asking guiding questions that lead students to discover answers on their own, building confidence along the way.
I also tailor my techniques to fit each student’s learning style—whether visual, auditory, reading/writing, or kinesthetic—and incorporate collaborative discussions, practice problems, and review games to keep sessions engaging and effective.

• Explain key concepts using notes, slides, or diagrams
• Walk through examples together
• Student practices independently with support as needed

• Summarize main points
• Answer final questions
• Suggest next steps for independent practice or next session
