About Emily
Biology is an extremely expansive and rewarding subject with a wide range of real-world applications. In October, I will be starting the second year of my biology degree at the University of Oxford. I studied biology GCSE and A-level, and my passion for the subject pushed me to apply to a top university. As a result, I'm happy to provide advice about university or college applications, such as how to write a stand-out personal statement or how to tackle interviews.

I work with each GCSE/A-level student to determine their preferred method of learning, and make sure students are confident with basic knowledge before moving onto more complicated concepts. Typical lessons will be between 45 minutes and 1 hour, involving talking through essential ideas and past paper questions. A small amount of extra reading or questions may be set to be completed outside of lesson time.
I have 2 years of GCSE tutoring experience, and feel confident in teaching A-level biology now that I am studying biology at degree level.
