About Veronica
I worked as a teaching assistant in Year 2, in a British primary school. My main job during lessons was to work with a small number of individuals who needed a little bit of extra help, so I am experienced in finding inventive ways to help children catch up to their expected skill level and never stopping until they have become confident in the subject they wish to improve on.

I am an undergraduate student studying Chemistry at Loughborough University. During my gap year I worked as a teaching assistant in a British primary school so I have the experience to effectively tutor children between the ages of 6-14 in Maths, Science and English. I believe I teach my lessons with a good understanding of what your child needs, since I am very engaged in their learning; I was in school not so long ago, so I know different tricks and methods which will help your child see the subject in a different light, to make it easier for them to understand. Understanding the subject is the key to success.

Veronica has a gentle way to encourage understanding of the subjects being taught. Adapting methods to suit so able to get the best from my daughter. Giving feedback at the end of the session which means we are able to discuss the topic after the lesson.
My daughter looks forward to her lessons.We regularly see Veronica , and our daughter is already showing greater levels of confidence in class when they tackle challenging maths topics . A One to one tutor is the perfect solution to help Emily get to grips with select topics she’s struggling to understand in class .
