About Ella
I am fascinated by the study of Biology and am passionate about sharing my knowledge with other students studying the subject or looking to take it to higher education. I studied Maths, Biology, Chemistry and Economics at A-Level as well as an array of subjects at GCSE level, including; triple science, Mathematics, English, Geography, History, Spanish and Physical Education. I enjoy learning different methods of studying and over the years have perfected the methods of efficient learning and long-term retention of taught information. These skills I hope to pass on to students I teach. I have enjoyed tutoring over the past 3 years and have developed the relevant skills to ensure that my methods of teaching produce the required results of the student.

I take the teaching approach from a learning, practice, and evaluation standpoint. I introduce a student to a topic and gauge their level of knowledge before filling in the gaps of knowledge. I then assign follow-up work to the lesson to ensure the information taught has been grasped. This will be marked and returned to the student by the next session. A typical lesson will last 1 hour long however a 2-hour session with a short break can also be arranged. I have experience tutoring for over around 3 years and take pride in my ability to teach a variety of age groups from GCSE/IGCSE to A-level standards.
