About Tyler
I am an undergraduate student who has experience in teaching GCSE students for nearly 3 years and A-level support for 1 year so far, starting this journey right after my GCSEs where I tutored a group of top set students once a week every week in their English and History classes after school. I care for education and believe too many students are unconfident and feel under supported by teachers, this can lead to increased stress and anxiety. Thus having someone personally help you and be attentive can change the game for students.
My interests for History are Modern British history (1945-2007), late imperial Russian history (1850-1960s), Early Arab and Islamic history, and theoretical historical frameworks.
Furthermore, I have proficiency in Weimar and Nazi Germany specs, the Cold War, and Edexcel's Crime and Punishment Specification.
For English Literature the texts I specialise in: (GCSE) Macbeth, A Christmas Carol, Power and Conflict poetry, Unseen poetry, (A-level) Othello, The Great Gatsby, Love poetry, A Streetcar Named Desire, The Handmaid's Tale, and Feminine Gospels
