About Manav
I've always loved the subject of Computer Science and ever since High School I've been passionate about sharing my love for the subject with other students. As someone who has been mentored in the past, I know the frustration one feels when they struggle to understand a concept and that feeling where one wishes that someone could explain the concept according to their style of learning. This gives the motivation to be a mentor and helps me assure students that I will give them the right guidance focusing on their style of learning.

I have mentored students in Computer Science in High School, especially with concepts such as Object-Oriented Programing and a basic understanding of different languages like Java, C/C++, Python and Scratch.
My lessons will typically be one hour long on zoom as it will give me the ability to explain the concept and test the student on the concept effectively, however I am always on board if a student needs extra time to understand something or brush up on a concept last minute. Usually, I would explain concepts by breaking them down and annotating sections of code/diagrams to help the student grasp the concept. Then, I would test the student by giving them an online quiz that is according to what I will be teaching.
The lessons are for students of all ages looking to understand more about different concepts in Computer Science. I hope to create a healthy learning environment so that learning does not become a chore rather something to look forward to.
