About Kaaviya
I’m currently studying BSc Economics at the University of Bath, with a strong background in Mathematics and Further Mathematics from my A-levels. Surprisingly, maths wasn’t always my favourite subject—I used to find it challenging and frustrating. But over time, I learnt to approach it differently, focusing on understanding rather than just memorisation. That shift not only helped me excel academically but also sparked my interest in problem-solving and analytical thinking. Now, I enjoy tutoring because I know firsthand how daunting maths can seem, and I want to help students build confidence and find their own way of understanding it.

My tutoring approach is centred on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and exploring mathematical concepts at their own pace. Whether it’s Maths or Further Maths, my goal is essentially to build confidence, problem-solving skills, and mathematical intuition, helping students not only succeed in exams but also appreciate the subject’s logic.
