About Shanzeh

Hi! My name is Shanzeh Khan, and I am a 19-year-old college senior looking to help young minds flourish. I have been helping classmates and peers throughout my scholastic career in many subjects, and I feel most productive when teaching mathematics. I am a fun-loving person and try to keep my lessons exciting for my students to make learning more engaging rather than a dreadful task. I’m not very strict, and I am open to working in any way that will help my students. I am a full-time student, so my availability is limited (please reach out to discuss further), but I am looking forward to helping like-minded individuals achieve their goals.

About the lesson

I am a recent high school graduate, so I am up to date on the difficulties of learning maths at school and with bad teachers. I am trying to help young students reach their academic goals in a meaningful and timely way by personalizing my teaching style to each student to help optimize learning.

A basic outline of the lesson includes: an introduction and an understanding of the student's difficult concepts, teaching that concept with examples, and ending with practice questions to ensure understanding. I may assign additional practice questions as "homework" to enforce learning if I feel it is necessary.

Expectation from the student: come ready and willing to learn, and have the concepts you need most help with prepared.
