First things first, remember intelligence is NOT concrete! Just because you don't understand something now does not mean you never will. Equipping a growth mindset is the most important step in the learning process. As an instructor, I've realized there is one trait I must have in order to deliver a successful lesson: the passion to not only share knowledge, but to learn new things myself. I see my lessons as less of an instruction and more of a conversation.
