About Pia
My interest in languages has always been one of my defining traits and I started learning English very early, and French shortly after. I think learning languages is very helpful in general, but most importantly it can be extremely fun and exciting to be able to communicate with people from other places. I think languages should be taught with this goal in mind, so while I want to help people with details such as grammar, I always want to make sure that the real world connection isn’t lost. I love languages and I want to show other people what there is to love.

I teach English, German, French, and am also available for beginner‘s Spanish. I am a German native speaker, and have worked as a translator, so I am very familiar with the workings of both German and English. I also have experience tutoring French at a Secondary School level. For English and German I can cater to all levels. I tailor my lessons to the needs of the individual, making sure to spend time on the specific elements that are challenging for the student. I make use of existing teaching material, as well as creating my own, to ensure an interactive and effective lesson.
