Hello!
As your tutor I plan to emphasize independent, but assisted learning. This means that I will assign practice problems to be completed during our meetings that I will guide my students through if needed.
My lesson plans will cater to the student's needs. People learn in different ways, so I plan to take this into account for each of my students when creating lesson plans.
As a current college student and recent high school graduate, the struggles associated with learning math and other STEM related course material are fresh in my mind. This gives me confidence that I will be able to pinpoint my students' exact causes of confusion and quickly help them move forward in their learning (I likely had the same problems just a few years ago).
My lessons are targeted towards elementary school, middle school and high school students.
