About Kanav
I'm a Software Engineering undergraduate at RMIT with a strong STEM background and a genuine passion for math and science. Before moving to Melbourne, I cleared several high-level competitive exams in India, including JEE, which meant years of deep, focused study in Math, Physics and Chemistry. That experience taught me not just the subjects themselves, but how to break down difficult concepts and explain them in a way that actually makes sense. I got into tutoring because I remember how much a good teacher can change your relationship with a subject, from feeling like a chore to something you're genuinely curious about. My goal with every student is to build that same confidence, one concept at a time.

Strong focus on building solid fundamentals and problem-solving skills rather than just memorising formulas, with great emphasis on developing concepts from the basics up. Having cleared various high-level STEM competitive exams like Joint Entrance Examination in India, I understand exactly where students typically get stuck and how to help them push through. I run proper doubt-clearing sessions and make sure students never feel left behind, replying to queries as promptly as possible. My goal is to help you truly understand the subject, not just get through the syllabus.
My lessons run about 60 minutes and are tailored to each student's pace, whether you need help with exam prep, homework, or building confidence from scratch.
