About Samuel
I am a Philosophy and Theology student at a UK top 10 university, with three A*s in Religious Studies, History, and Politics, and grade 9s in GCSE History, Psychology, English Language, and English Literature.
Not only that, but I have a sincere love of learning, and a view of education which goes beyond the exam board, and reaches the whole person. I am adept at breaking concepts down and guiding students to forming their own opinion in the process of understanding the ideas in front of them, whether it is an argument for God's existence, or a Tennyson poem.
Outside of academics, I enjoy hiking, playing the bass guitar, long train journeys, and watching stand up comedy.

Education goes far beyond arbitrary decisions made by exam boards, and I aim to improve your grades by first improving your understanding.
We will discuss areas of confusion, challenge, and weakness, which I will directly target and respond to in lessons.
Using manifold techniques, including; verbal discussion and debate to form your own opinions, essay practice and feedback to ensure lucid answers, and breaking down concepts to cement proficiency, I hope to elevate your mastery of the course, and your love of learning more broadly.
