About Akshara
Hi! I'm a college student with a strong passion for helping others learn and succeed. I’ve always enjoyed breaking down tricky topics and finding simple, clear ways to explain them. I specialize in math, science, English, and SAT prep, and I earned a 1570 SAT superscore through consistent practice and strategy. In high school, I worked as a peer tutor and found it rewarding to help students gain confidence and improve their skills. I’m here to offer patient, personalized support and make learning feel more manageable and less stressful.

My approach to tutoring is clear, patient, and flexible. I focus on helping students truly understand the material by breaking it down into simple steps and using examples they can relate to. I adapt my teaching style to fit each student. In a typical session, we start with a quick review, move into new topics with guided practice, and end with a summary and time for questions. I scored a 1570 superscore on the SAT, so I understand what it takes to prepare well and build strong test-taking skills over time. My lessons are great for elementary school, middle school, and high school, especially for those studying for the SAT or needing support in math, science, or English.
