About Joan
Hi guys! I am Joan, an undergraduate from Nanyang Technological University, pursuing a degree in Psychology with Second major in Biological Sciences.
I've always loved learning and sharing my knowledge with those around me. This inspired me to pursue my degree, learning about neuroscience and child development, including how different methods of teaching can be applied to different age groups to aid in effective learning!
Slowly, I ventured into teaching, and I find interacting with students and helping them succeed academically very fulfilling!

Method/style of teaching:
- Remote, via zoom
- Consultation style to foster learning independence:
- Work will be given beforehand to complete
- 2 hours to go through mistakes, clarify doubts, and go through relevant materials to aid in understanding
- Exam tips and heuristics will be taught along the way
Material:
- Practice materials will be provided
- Depending on the level of mathematical competence, supplementary books (recommended by tutor) need to be bought and used as material for classes.
