About Mia

Hi, I'm Mia and I'm currently studying French Law and English Law at university, I recently finished my A-Levels in French, English Literature and History. I have three years of significant experience teaching French to learners at a variety of levels. During my free time, I love to paint, do ballet and read! I am an approachable and hard-working person, and will do everything I can to help improve your confidence in French as I believe the ability to learn a language should be accessible to all!

About the lesson

A typical lesson will be 1 hour and is aimed at GCSE (B1) or lower, lessons are highly adaptable to specific student needs and current level of French. Our lessons will involve a mix of grammar practice, vocabulary tests, speaking practice and thematic knowledge of the Francophone world, using knowledge I have gained from my GCSE, A-Level and TEFL language teaching qualification. Through a variety of tailored activities, I will help improve your reading, writing and confidence in French! My past students have gone on to feel much more confident in their exams as a result of this preparation.

Currently offering summer booster sessions to help you prepare for GCSE exams in advance

Mia is an amazing tutor because she comes prepared to every lesson and she explains things clearly and will continue to re-explain them until you fully understand.

Mia was always prepared and well organised during all of my tutor sessions with her, she gave me a wide range of tasks to work with which would improve specific areas that I was struggling on. Mia’s tutoring made a huge impact on my GCSE English results and also helped me enjoy the subject too!
