About Dinura
I’m a computing science undergraduate student at a Russell Group university, where a strong foundational understanding of mathematics is demanded. From a young age, I have been particularly strong and keen with mathematics. I know that many people struggle a lot with mathematics and even grow some hatred towards it. However, in my experience, I have always found mathematics quite simple, even satisfying. The reason I have also learnt many of my friends and peers struggle with mathematics is due to either using overly-complex methods or not simplifying problems. During my time at school, even as young as grade 4 or 6, many friends from my class struggling with maths would ask me for help, and I found out that I was particularly good at teaching and there was also this kind of joint satisfaction when they would eventually have a revelation of understanding the difficult topic. What has always helped me is breaking down things into manageable chunks, then consolidation.

I can organise Zoom meetings to teach National 5 Maths or Higher Maths. Me personally, I have a couple of great techniques that helped me ace my Prelims and Exams, scoring 100% on my final Higher Maths. From a young age, I have always excelled at mathematics by employing simplified, yet effective methods and memorisation techniques. With my lessons, you should be able to grasp and thoroughly understand the mathematical topics, + exam techniques. Maths made simple and satisfying.
