About Camilla
I am an undergraduate teacher's assistant at Nova Southeastern University. I have a deep passion for not only the sciences, but forming connections with students; this has aided me in being a helpful tutor for those who need extra reinforcement in chemistry and biology. Being a student on the pre-medical track, I know how difficult science classes can get, and I want to offer easier approaches to understanding difficult material. I have experience with one-on-one tutoring, as well as group sessions.

I find that students learn best with active recall, constantly asking them to explain the information and encouraging practice problems is the most effective way to learn; I love to incorporate that into my lessons. I make sure that my students have a solid foundations in the concepts, as they build upon one another.
I took courses on tutoring and know the best methods of teaching. It is also very important to bond and connect with the students to ensure that they can trust you and your knowledge.
The lessons are catered for high school and college students who need assistance in general chemistry or biology.
