About Jan

My name is Jan Sim, and I’m an undergraduate majoring in psychology with a deep passion for teaching children. With a year of experience as a preschool teacher, I have honed my skills in crafting engaging and effective lessons that cater to young learners' needs. I thrive on creating a positive, interactive environment where children can explore, learn, and grow. I take pride in helping students achieve their goals and celebrate their progress, and I’m always excited to bring creativity and enthusiasm into my teaching practice.

About the lesson

My teaching style emphasizes visual learning, which helps students grasp concepts more effectively. I recommend 45 to 60-minute lessons to maintain engagement and maximize learning. With a year of experience as a preschool teacher, I've successfully taught children from playgroup to kindergarten level, tailoring my approach to meet their developmental needs. Prior to being a preschool teacher, I have had experience in the preschool teaching industry since 2019.

Undergraduate and ex preschool teacher. I teach english and maths to 3 - 6 years olds.
