About Yiannis
I hold both an undergraduate and a Master’s degree in Law, and I’ve had the privilege of teaching for a year at Portsmouth Grammar School, one of the UK’s leading secondary schools. During my time there, I honed my ability to work with students of all levels, helping them grasp complex subjects while building their confidence and academic skills.
My experience in both law and education has shaped my passion for teaching. I believe that knowledge is one of the most empowering tools we can offer others, and I want to inspire students to achieve their best, not only academically but in their personal growth as well.
Teaching provides me with a platform to make a tangible difference in students' lives. Whether I’m tutoring Law, Politics, English, or Music (Singing & Piano), I focus on providing a well-rounded and personalized learning experience. I especially enjoy working with English learners—from foreign students and beginners to those working on advanced essays—because language proficiency opens doors to countless opportunities.
I find great satisfaction in helping students gain clarity in subjects that may seem difficult at first and seeing them develop confidence in their own abilities. My ultimate goal as a tutor is to foster an environment of learning that feels supportive, engaging, and tailored to each individual’s needs.

I offer tutoring in Law, Politics, English, and Music (Singing & Piano).
Academic Tutoring:
Law & Politics: I focus on breaking down complex ideas into manageable parts, helping students strengthen their analytical skills and apply theory to practical situations. Whether preparing for exams or assignments, I help students build the confidence needed to succeed academically and professionally.
English: I offer tutoring for students at all levels, including foreign students learning English as a second language, beginners needing foundational support, and advanced students working on essays and literary analysis. My approach balances grammar, reading comprehension, writing, and speaking to ensure well-rounded language proficiency.
Music Tutoring:
Singing & Piano: Whether you're a beginner or looking to advance your skills, my lessons focus on mastering technique while encouraging creativity. For singers, I emphasize vocal control, pitch accuracy, and performance confidence. In piano, I cover everything from basic note-reading to advanced pieces, ensuring that each lesson is enjoyable and productive.
