About Amelie
Undergrad in French Secondary Education at the University of Alberta, former French immersion Educational Assistant and former private French tutor. I'm here to help. School can be challenging and daunting, but with practice, encouragement and a positive role model and guide in your corner, you will succeed and overcome any academic obstacles that were previously stopping you from learning. I'm committed to being an effective communicator and teacher, but above all, I'm a friend first. I believe that every kid can succeed and that learning can be FUN! Play is an important part of education- when you're not having any fun, school isn't much fun either.

I love guiding kids through the learning process in an enriching and positive environment. I try to make lessons as engaging and fun as possible, all while teaching valuable skills that will help increase a student's capabilities in the subject. I am able to teach in French and English, any subject, any grade. Furthermore, establishing good relationships with each student and earning their trust is essential to teaching. A typical lesson includes:
