Hi, I’m Eva! I am a Political Science major at UMass Amherst and a graduate of Townsend Harris High School, where I earned a 4.0 GPA. My approach is patient, encouraging, and tailored to each student’s needs. I break down difficult concepts into manageable steps, explain ideas in different ways, and help students build confidence rather than simply memorize answers.
A typical lesson begins with identifying the student’s goals and reviewing any challenging material. We then work through examples together, practice independently, and finish by discussing study strategies and next steps. I can help elementary, middle, and high school students with homework support, reading, writing, social studies, and general study skills. As a student-athlete, I also understand the importance of organization, time management, and creating a positive learning environment.
