About Dr Umar

I am an English communication trainer and academic with a PhD in English. Over the course of my career, I have dedicated myself to helping individuals master the art of effective communication, teaching diverse groups of students and professionals across key academic institutions.
My deep background in 20th-century English literature, combined with my extensive professional focus on English linguistics, allows me to provide a comprehensive learning experience. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge because I believe that clear, impactful communication is the most powerful tool for career advancement and personal growth.
I look forward to helping you build your confidence, refine your pronunciation, and achieve your professional communication goals.

About the lesson

My teaching methodology focuses on practical, interactive, and result-oriented learning designed to build real-world confidence. I specialize in breaking down complex linguistic concepts into simple, actionable steps, focusing heavily on Received Pronunciation (RP), phonetic transcription, and mastering the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA).
A typical training session includes dynamic sound drills, interactive exercises to neutralize Mother Tongue Influence (MTI), and targeted practice for corporate soft skills and interview readiness. I structure my classes to ensure maximum student participation, providing constructive feedback in a supportive learning environment.
These classes are perfectly suited for college students preparing for campus placements, corporate professionals aiming to upgrade their executive communication, and anyone looking to achieve neutral, impactful, and globally understood English pronunciation.
