About Joaquin
LEARN MUSIC AND HAVE FUN! Hey guys! My name is Joaquín, I am a Professional Musician and a Music Teacher from Chile, with a Degree in Guitar and Music. I’ve been giving music lessons in Byron Bay the last 2 years, before this I worked in Chile in high schools and rural schools for four years, learning different teaching methods. Every student is different from the other, so my classes are focused on your specific interest and musical level. You will learn both practical and theoretical sides of music, including harmony, rhythms, chords, scales, improvisation, inversions, musical styles, etc. We can do a one-to-one class or put together a group. And if you prefer, we can even do the class in Spanish!

Perfect! I'm delighted to have found Joaquin. I'm not only learning fabulous technique but he is introducing me to Andean music, a genre I have loved since childhood. Joaquin is so versatile I can request all sorts of music styles and as an added bonus he helps me with my Spanish! Having a mother who is an awesome music teacher I know an amazing teacher when I meet one and Joaquin is amazing. My lessons with him have become a highlight of my week :-)
