About Maria
I have a degree in maths and computer science. Having been an official university tutor in several subjects for 2.5 years, I have experience with structuring lessons and presenting content in an understandable way to students with varying skills. Previously, I also offered voluntary private lessons to high school students in maths and physics, so I have exposure to all levels of education.

I believe that students are unique and have their own approaches to understanding things that often works better than any prescriptive approach. My task is to frame content in a way that makes sense to the individual student, taking into account background and thinking styles.
The structure of a lesson depends a lot on the specific objectives of tuition and where the student is at achieving them. Early on, planned lessons are beneficial for introduction. As skill level goes up, the structure becomes more flexible to address difficult areas and challenge the student to reach their potential.
