About Sophie
My name is Sophie Adams! I'm a fourth-year student at UCSB preparing to graduate in a few months with my Bachelor's in History. I have experience in most areas of history and some experience with psychology, political science, and film. I would like to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for all students. With that in mind, I would like to specifically point out that this is a safe space for LGBTQIA+ students!

My lessons are for entry level historians, high school, and middle school ages. As far as I'm concerned, while I am your tutor, I'd like to be more of a friend than an instructor. The goal is to help you understand the material and improve your critical thinking skills. Because of the subject at hand (history),I would appreciate if you could provide me with the topic of discussion / or assigned readings prior to our meeting so that I can be prepared.
