About Julianne

Born in San Francisco, I moved between the U.S. and Korea as a child, becoming fluent in Korean along the way.

In high school, I spent over three years volunteering to teach young children Korean, gaining teaching experience and developing my own effective methods. I also completed Korean 7-8 Honors, aced the TOPIK exam with the highest score, and successfully passed the bilingual certification.

This passion and experience helped me get admitted to UCLA as a Korean major. I focus on making lessons engaging, practical, and stress-free, helping students improve their Korean speaking skills naturally. Whether you want to practice conversation, learn grammar, or gain confidence using Korean in daily life, I’ll guide you every step of the way.

About the lesson

I provide customized Korean assignments designed to help students improve efficiently and build confidence in speaking :)

Each lesson begins with an assessment of your current Korean level, followed by a customized learning plan tailored to your needs. My instruction emphasizes real-life conversation skills, allowing you to speak naturally and confidently. Whether you are a beginner or have prior experience, I adapt lessons to suit your level.

With strong bilingual skills, I can clearly and effectively explain Korean language concepts. I have extensive experience teaching learners of all ages—from young children to high school students. No matter your proficiency, my goal is to help you master Korean in an engaging and effective way!
