About Milena
I have been tutoring students for over 10 years. I became a tutor after being inspired by my own tutor. Their patience and repetitive approach helped me build my own confidence and led me to solve problems on my own. They gave me the tools I needed to perform and that is what I plan to do for you! I have worked with a broad range of students from all backgrounds and abilities, with a specific focus on high school students preparing for college. Tutoring is not one size fits all so I take the time to really get to know my students and what works best for them. I will always come prepared to our lessons so that we can make the most of our time together.

We will start with a baseline assessment of the course or test we are preparing for, your individual strengths and areas to focus on, and your learning style. We will do working sessions, problem solving review, and always leave time for questions. I will also teach you academic strategy to improve your test taking abilities, study skills, and preparation habits. I am very patient and will work with you to keep you on track!
