About Saloni

I’m **Saloni**, a UCLA Mathematics major on the pre-law track with several years of tutoring experience. My math background gives me depth in algebra, calculus, statistics, and physics, while pre-law training sharpens my analysis, logic, and close-reading—skills I use to teach problem deconstruction, test strategy, and clear writing. I’m punctual, prepared, and patient: every session has a clear goal, concise notes, and measurable next steps. I tailor lessons to each student, track progress with short diagnostics, and keep expectations high with kind accountability. Whether you’re rebuilding foundations or aiming for top scores, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move confidently to the next level.

About the lesson

I’m **Saloni**, a tutor who starts every course with a quick diagnostic and each lesson with a clear goal. I teach using an explain-show-do rhythm, Socratic prompts, and dual-coded visuals, then lock learning in with retrieval practice, spaced review, and friendly error analysis. A typical 60-minute session moves from a 3–5 minute warm-up, to a focused mini-lesson and worked example, followed by guided practice, brief independent problems, and a short debrief with targeted homework and a two-week study plan. This goes for any subject.

What sets me apart is calm, patient coaching, concise three-bullet takeaways after every class, and a simple progress tracker so you see gains over time, plus exam strategies like pacing, when to skip, and rubric-aware answers. My lessons serve motivated learners of any grade who need structure or confidence in math, physics, chemistry, statistics, or academic writing, including AP/IB and SAT/ACT prep.
