About Olivia
Hi! I am a friendly ex-UCL student, who studied Linguistics. Whilst I withdrew from my studies for personal reasons, I am highly academic. I can offer advice on university entry, including to Oxbridge. At UCL I was a Student Ambassador, and helped many prospective students reach their potential - most receiving an offer later on!
For practical and academic help, my expertise lies in English Language, Linguistics and Creative Writing. However, I have excellent A-Level grades in Sociology, Media and my EPQ, and have been employed in the political field.

I try to make my lessons as interactive as possible. I welcome all questions, however big or small, and I am non-judgemental in my responses.
Ultimately, I see it my goal to help get students the grades that I know they can achieve, and unlock all potential. I think a great way of doing this is by seeking out a students' strengths and weaknesses, and building up methodically where necessary.
Coming from a state school myself (which has since been closed down), I especially welcome prospective students from the same background. Social mobility is important to me, and I think everyone deserves to be high achievers, regardless of background.
My lessons are suitable to GCSE and A-Level students, or those who are looking to apply to university.

Details
I have set a travel cost for students living in London. Whilst I am based in Harlow, I am happy to help students nearby in London too. This just means it costs me a bit more on public transport, so I have set a small travel charge of £5 for students based in London.
