About Tom
I recently graduated from UCL with a Masters in Migration Studies. My thesis looked at the relationship between climate change and migration, while I gained distinctions in modules including: International and European Refugee Law; Non-Profit Sector Management and Policy; and Advanced Geopolitics. Prior to this I received a first class degree in Geography from the University of Southampton, with modules including Economic Geographies and Cultural Geographies. For my dissertation as part of this degree, I was awarded third place in the UK by the Royal Geographic Society in the Race, Culture and Equality award.

I aim to help individuals understand and think critically about theories and ideas discussed in their modules in greater depth, by breaking down complex ideas using a step by step method. I will read my students assignments and provide individual feedback in order for students to achieve their desired result. My teaching is best suited to those at A Level or Undergraduate level looking to improve their grades. I am patient and flexible with my approach to tutoring, in order to get the best result for each individual student.
