About Muskan
I'm a full-stack software engineer and cybersecurity specialist based in London, with a genuine passion for demystifying a field that most people find intimidating or mysterious. After completing my MSc in Information Security (Distinction) at UCL - where I built cryptographic systems from scratch, including encryption protocols and zero-knowledge proofs - I've spent the past three years working on secure, production-grade applications for enterprise clients.

My approach to tutoring is hands-on and project-based - I believe you learn to code by writing code, not just watching it. Lessons typically run 60–90 minutes and combine core concept explanation with live coding practice, so you leave each session having actually built or fixed something real.
I hold an MSc in Information Security (Distinction) from UCL and have 3+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, building production applications in JavaScript, Python, and cloud platforms. I'm also a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), which lets me bring genuine industry security practices into lessons rather than just textbook theory.
I teach students at all levels - from complete beginners exploring programming for the first time, to GCSE and A-level students needing structured exam support, to university students or career-changers wanting to build real skills in web development, Python, or cybersecurity. I adapt each lesson to the student's goals, whether that's passing an exam, building a portfolio project, or breaking into a tech career.
