About Simran
Hi, my name is Simran and I am about to enter year 2 of studying Chemistry with Maths at a top Russell group university. I enjoy studying these subjects as it requires you to break down complex topics into smaller simpler parts which is a good skill for tutoring. I have previous experience as a tuition assistant at an 11+ centre and I am already tutoring A-level chemistry.

Typically my lessons are an hour long, as it is a sufficient amount of time to cover content without the lesson being too long so that the student loses focus, I am also willing to do multiple lessons a week if necessary.
In my lessons, first I will cover the content, making sure to ask students questions throughout to keep them engaged. Then to consolidate the topic they have learnt I will make sure that we go through questions, especially hard exam-style questions so they have a chance to apply what they have learnt. I can also help them fix any misconception that they may have about the topic.
I have previously worked as an 11+ tuition assistant at a tutoring centre and I currently am tutoring a student in A-level chemistry. I tutor students in the 11+, GCSE and A-level Chemistry and Maths.

Simran is a lovely tutor who takes into account all of your needs. I struggled with GCSE maths where I asked Simran for guidance. I jumped from a 4 to a 7 in the space of 2 months and I am studying maths for a-level. She is amazing and someone who everyone needs. She is also exceptional at chemistry do to her helping me in it at GCSE science level and hopefully a level. Her recent results back up her ability due to her getting A* in both maths and chemistry at A level. Can’t recommend anymore
