About Sahena
Hi, I am Sahena, a second year chemical engineering student at UCL. I graduated with an IB Diploma with a total score of 38 with a 6 in Higher Level Maths in 2023. I have experience tutoring friends and family in the MYP Extended Maths curriculum and Standard Level Analysis and Approaches. I received 1520 in the SAT and 32 in the ACT and am open to tutoring to prepare for these assessments. I am a people oriented person who loves to share my knowledge with others and my goal with each session is to make sure that the student has learnt something that they can take away and apply to their homework, tests etc. My focus will be to teach not only a concept, but also skills and strategies to succeed in applying these concepts in unfamiliar settings. I am happy to work with students undertaking GCSEs, MYP, IB, SAT, ACT, and those who would like practice/to work on specific sections of maths, such as Algebra, Calculus, and Trigonometry that are not specific to a curriculum. I look forward to working with you!
