About Fearne
I’ve studied Architecture at both Liverpool University (half a year) and UCL’s Bartlett School of Architecture, which has given me first-hand insight into how different universities approach design and teaching. Experiencing both has made me value the ambitious, experimental, and highly creative “Bartlett way” of design — and this is the perspective I want to pass on to students. I am now in one of UCL’s most competitive design units, where originality, critical thinking, and strong communication are essential. Alongside my own studies, I have several years of experience tutoring A-Level and 11+ subjects. This has taught me how to adapt to different learning styles, break down complex ideas clearly, and support students at a range of academic levels. Bringing these experiences together, I aim to give tailored, approachable, and effective guidance to help you reach your potential — whether you’re preparing for Bartlett admissions or refining your architecture portfolio.

I offer focused 30-minute sessions (£25) for students preparing their portfolios and applications to Bartlett School of Architecture, as well as current architecture students who want portfolio feedback and development support. With experience in Architecture and Interdisciplinary Design, plus two years on UCL’s highly competitive BSc Architecture course, I understand what makes a portfolio stand out. I am now working within one of UCL’s most competitive design units, giving me up-to-date insight into the standards and expectations at the Bartlett. In our sessions, I can help you: Develop strong, original portfolio projects Refine sketchbooks and process work Structure your portfolio for maximum impact Prepare confidently for admissions interviews Improve existing architecture portfolios at university level I can also share examples from my own portfolio to illustrate how ideas can be communicated clearly and effectively. Lessons are tailored to your stage and needs, whether you’re just starting or polishing your final presentation.
