About Jay
I am a mechanical engineering major at the University of Central Florida, with that I have had access to high level education. In my personal life I have extensive work experience in customer service so rest assured I know how to communicate effectively and am able to work to find the best solution to any issue that arises. In my spare time I am very involved with music at UCF!

Admittedly, I am new to the world of private tutoring. However, that does not mean I lack enthusiasm for the subject matter or care for students. I believe learning is an absolute right and privilege, helping others succeed in a subject I have extensive knowledge about is the least I can do with the skills I have. My goal is to identify areas or struggle and confusion for a student and start there and work my way outwards to reinforcing comfortable topics.

Jay is a phenomenal tutor! It’s obvious that he cares about the subject and wants you to succeed. Not only is he great at explaining difficult concepts, but will happily work with you and find different ways to explain a topic until you understand it.
