About Emily
Hello! I'm Emily, a first year medical student at Imperial College London offering tutoring for A-level biology and chemistry, as well as support with medical and dental school admissions. I achieved 4 offers from Imperial, KCL and Manchester (both medicine and dentistry), including a first-batch offer from Imperial. I scored within the top 5% for the UCAT, with a Band 1 in SJT.
As someone who has recently been through the admissions process, I am able to better understand students and provide personalised advice on how to balance their commitments and studies to achieve the best results. I am committed to finding the best approach for my students, including training on exam technique, working under time pressure and building students' confidence.

I have a detail-oriented approach that helps to break down complex processes to students, as well as allow them to build up exam technique and confidence. Interviews and the UCAT focus on thinking under time pressure, as well as taking in many small details at once. My approach allows students to be able to know what to look for, and includes meticulous feedback that will allow students to improve quickly and fulfil their potential.
Each session is tailored to the student's specific strengths and weaknesses, and are focused on the following:
- Breaking down question types
- Helping students to digest information quickly and efficiently
- Exam technique, including the mental aspects of preparation
- Replicating real exam conditions and interviews
