About Blessing
Hello, my name is Blessing, I'm a high school junior, and I have loved English all my life. I love to write and read and will have no problem showing others how to do so. As previously mentioned, I am in Academic Decathlon, and have won various awards for it, such as 2nd place overall individual medalist (scholastic), first place nationally in Social Studies, and 2nd place in the subjects Economics, Art, Literature, Music, and Science. My team also placed 3rd overall nationally. Academic Decathlon is very heavy on reading and writing; there are 7 resource guides to read and memorize, so I have acquired many studying skills that I can teach to students.

My teaching method will include:
Dissecting the structure of an essay
Practice Essays (which will be graded)
Looking at example essays
Reading passages and giving short quizzes to check the student's level of understanding
Explaining common features of texts like figurative language, symbolism, etc.
I am also available to teach history and elementary to middle school math.
My lessons are best suited for students from elementary to high school. I can teach kids in elementary and middle school honors classes. For high school, I can teach freshmen and sophomores. I am very good at providing study methods, I'm down to earth, relatable, I have a flexible schedule and am generally available to meet on Zoom or a nearby library if distance allows anytime.
