About Gayathiri
I am a Ontario Certified Teacher who works with students from grades 7-12. I majored in both biology and chemistry in my undergraduate studies along with an additional qualification to teach math. I have taught many strands of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Functions, Calculus and Data management.

As an individual it is very important to grasp the fundamentals of all areas of study. In math and science most students are not given enough time to grasp the basics that allow them to move forward. As tutors perhaps we can fix the flaw in the school system and help students understand the fundamentals that work together to generate more complex ideas. Students have potential but its not given time to develop. I teach using a variety of methods. I enjoy hands on activities, creating note sheets for the learners that like to have it on paper allowing them to listen actively, I use many software programs such as Plickers, Kahoot, Nearpod. The aim for the lesson is for it to be engaging, exciting and most importantly ensuring it matches your students learning styles.
