My lessons are highly practical and focused on learning through exercises. The objective is not only to explain a concept, but to make sure the student can apply it independently in homework, tests, and exams.
A typical one-hour lesson is divided into three parts. We normally spend about 20 minutes reviewing homework or questions from the previous lesson, 20 minutes introducing or clarifying a new concept, and 20 minutes applying it through targeted exercises. This structure is flexible and can be adapted when the student has an upcoming exam, an important assignment, or specific difficulties that require more attention.
I use clear, step-by-step explanations and avoid unnecessary complexity. When a mistake occurs, we work through the reasoning together, identify where the difficulty comes from, and then practise with similar questions until the method becomes more natural.
Exercises are tailored to the student's grade level, current classroom material, and objectives. Based on the student's needs, I will prepare additional practice exercises and make them available online or send them by email after the lesson. These exercises can represent up to approximately two additional hours of independent practice before the next session.
The focus is always on preparing the student for what comes next. This may mean keeping up with weekly homework, catching up on difficult topics, preparing for an exam. The lesson plan and practice work are adjusted accordingly so that each session supports the student's progress.
